21-year-old Naomi Seibt from Germany has become known as anti-Greta for her loud denial of the climate crisis.

She has been praised by climate skeptics for advocating a view of climate change as something normal and not very worrying.

She tells the Foreign Office that young climate activists have been intimidated into using them by those in power for their own gain and that it is this fear that will destroy their future.

- It is disgusting, the young people are terrified that they will not have a good future.

They are abandoning their true passion for climate activism.

Its sad.

"No competence"

Naomi Seibt says she does not mind activists per se, but says that the young people who have taken to the streets around the world do not know enough about the climate to be able to talk about it.

- The young people do not have enough skills and should not talk about something that they are not experts in and that only makes them afraid.

"Hunger strike is blackmail"

Germany recently went to the polls and before that a group of young climate activists went on hunger strike in the capital Berlin to talk to politicians.

Some of the participants became so ill that they ended up in hospital before they finally got a promise of a meeting.

Naomi Seibts says she is against that kind of action.

- It is terrible that young people go so far as to starve themselves.

It's not activism.

It is to blackmail politicians, she says.
