15 October 2021Final of the week growing for the stock exchanges, in Europe, but also in Asia and the United States.

The Milan Ftse Mib index rose by 0.78%, bringing the weekly balance to + 1.65%.

Piazza Affari is a little better than Frankfurt and Paris + 0.60%, and London, +0.30.  



Also on Wall Street is in positive territory, Dow Jones + 0.60%.

Yesterday, the index closed with the largest rise since July.


Today, as yesterday, the quarterly accounts weigh positively above the expectations of American banks: today it was the turn of Goldman Sachs, whose net profit jumped 63% in the third quarter to 5.28 billion dollars, much above expectations.

Retail sales in the United States also exceeded expectations: + 0.7% in September compared to August;

analysts had expected a drop of 0.2%.



Bad news for consumers, however, from the price of oil: the Brent in the North Sea continues to rise and is now close to 85 dollars a barrel.
