15 October 2021 The Whirlpool table is resumed at Mise. The parties, after taking a break, continued the confrontation, which began yesterday with over 30 hours of intense discussion, at the Ministry of Economic Development. The goal is to avert the layoffs that should start today. Yesterday Whirlpool gave its willingness to suspend the procedure until December 15, if an agreement could be closed by today.

Deputy Minister Todde asked the company for time, deeming the plan illustrated by Invitalia to be "serious and credible"; the path foresees the establishment of the consortium for the reindustrialisation of the Naples site by 15 December and the Industrial Plan would be presented by the same date.
