The UN commented on the police operation in the north of Kosovo

"There is no certainty that KFOR were properly informed before the dispatch of the police special forces," TASS quotes the head of the UN mission in Kosovo, Zahir Tanin.

The UN special envoy recalled that on October 13, the Kosovo police were sent north "to carry out, according to statements, an anti-smuggling operation in a number of places in Kosovo."

Earlier, the Serbian authorities accused Pristina of provocations in the north of Kosovo.
