Neighbor about the death: "Now you are reminded of how serious it was"

- Now you are suddenly reminded of how serious it actually was, and that it unfortunately had this outcome, says Elenore Hafstrand.

Elenore's apartment is located in one of the affected stairwells, and since the explosion on September 28, she has been allowed to stay in a hotel, just like many other victims.

Understood the seriousness

She saw when the fire brigade carried the now deceased woman out of the apartment, and says that she immediately understood how serious the situation was.

- I wonder if she will survive this, that was my first thought, says Elenore Hafstrand.

A total of 16 people were injured in the explosion and fire, four of whom were seriously injured and received intensive care.

The woman is the only one who died in connection with the incident, other people have been able to leave the hospital.
