The police are now urging people who know about the package to contact them and explain the purpose of the package and its contents.
The police assess that there is currently no danger to the public, but since the package cannot be completely dismissed as harmless, the police have initiated a preliminary investigation into preparations for general destruction and the package will be handled by the police's national bomb squad.
