The 37-year-old who is arrested for the act in which five people died probably suffers from a mental illness, the Norwegian police stated on Friday.

The perpetrator has entered private addresses and killed.

More weapons than bow and arrow have been used, but the police do not want to go out with that type of weapon.

Svein Westad lives in Kongsberg and became aware of the act when he was cooking dinner.

"Thought we were in a war zone"

- The police came here with helmets, bulletproof vests and automatic rifles.

We thought we were in the middle of a war zone.

He has stayed at home until well into Thursday when he went out into nature to find peace.

- The heart is divided into two.

It's so awful, I will not get over this for several years.

The Norwegian police are too kind and careful, Svein Westad thinks - hear him tell in the video above.
