A Lebanese woman, Maryam Farhat, was killed in her home after being shot in the head, when armed clashes erupted in the Tayouneh area of ​​Beirut yesterday Thursday.

According to press reports, the late 40-year-old woman went to the window to check on her five children who were supposed to come from school at the time of the clashes in the area.

When she opened the window of her house, located on the second floor of the building, she was hit in the head by a stray bullet, and she fell to the ground covered in blood.

One of the victims' relatives indicated that her daughter's wedding was two days ago, saying: "Two days ago, her eldest daughter's wedding ceremony, and she was overwhelmed with joy, and her 22-year-old daughter bid farewell to a bride, so that the bride returns today to her mother's funeral dressed in black."

Yesterday, Thursday, at least 6 people were killed during armed unrest in the Tayouneh area of ​​the Lebanese capital, Beirut, which the authorities described as an attack on demonstrators who were heading to participate in a protest called by "Hezbollah" and the "Amal" movement to demand the dismissal of the investigating judge in the Beirut port explosion.
