The number of applications submitted to the Ministry of Community Development to join the Emirati Productive Families Program "Al-Sana'a" increased by 60% until September of this year, as it rose to 156 applications, compared to 54 applications last year, according to the statistical data issued by the Ministry, which was reviewed by the Emirates News Agency. Statistical reports issued by the ministry showed that the number of families registered in the program is 2,904, and that the total income of families participating in the program reached at the end of last year 57 million dirhams, and the total income of Emirati productive families participating in the "Sana'a" pavilion in the Global Village since Its launch and until the end of its session last year, amounted to about 44 million and 900 thousand dirhams, at a time when the income of families joining the program reached 13 million and 500 thousand dirhams through marketing exhibitions at the state level.

An application is submitted for registration in the productive families programs to enable them to participate in the various events organized by the Productive Families Programs Department, including marketing exhibitions, marketing outlets, and training courses.

Joining the programs allows productive families to benefit from a free service, which allows them to market their products in the marketing outlets, by providing shops for selling and marketing the products of these families free of charge throughout the year.

The "Sana'a" program is a development project that supports productive Emirati families, including those entitled to social security, and opens the way for people of determination to express their energies and capabilities, enabling them to achieve economic and social stability by participating in innovative technical and marketing programs, and establishing micro-enterprises.

The number of productive Emirati families registered in the program at the Ministry of Community Development increased during the current year, as 43 new families were registered during the first half of this year 2021, including 476 families who are eligible for social security in the ministry. Last year, 53 families joined the program.

The Ministry of Community Development organized 471 courses for productive families in recent years, until the end of last month, which included theoretical and professional courses, with the aim of providing families with new skills and experiences, and refining their talents.

The total number of participants in the training courses was close to 9,000 families, with families repeating the same course or participating in different courses.

The “Productive Emirati Families Industry” program aims to spread and deepen the culture of self-employment, self-reliance, find sources of income for poor and middle families, and transform the largest number of productive families into productive economic projects to upgrade and improve their living conditions, revive industries related to heritage and train them, and exploit environmental resources. .

At the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Community Development announced the updating of the procedures and services related to the membership card of Emirati families producing families joining the "Sana'a" project, after providing the card with qualitative smart features approved by "Blockchain" technology. The printed membership card was canceled and replaced with an electronic card. It includes a set of features and facilities for the beneficiaries, in line with the ministry's initiatives that keep pace with the vision of smart transformation in services, in line with the directions of the UAE digital government.
