Two Japanese, including businessman Yusaku Maezawa, were released to the press in December at a facility on the outskirts of Moscow before going on a space trip on a Russian spacecraft.

Yusaku Maezawa, a businessman, and Yozo Hirano, an officer of Maezawa's affiliated company, boarded the Russian spacecraft Soyuz on December 8 and set out on a space trip to the International Space Station. I plan to stay for a day.

This is the first time a Japanese civilian has stayed at the International Space Station.

Maezawa and his colleagues are training at the Gagarin Astronaut Training Center in the suburbs of Moscow, and the situation was released to the press on the 14th.

On this day, fire extinguishing work and training to escape from the station by spacecraft were carried out on the assumption that an emergency such as a fire occurred at the International Space Station.

After the training, Mr. Maezawa said, "It gets hot just by wearing a space suit, but it was quite hard today because it was my first time wearing a gas mask. I have been training for several months, but everything is fun." Said.

On top of that, "Every time the day of departure approaches, I'm just excited and I'm not scared or anxious so far. I'm preparing about 100 things I want to do at the station. I'm looking forward to playing badminton with Russian astronauts." Said his aspirations.
