The UAE is a member of the Human Rights Council for the third time

In a new international achievement, the UAE won membership in the Human Rights Council, from 2022 to 2024, after obtaining 180 votes from the Asia-Pacific group, during the elections that took place yesterday among members of the United Nations General Assembly by direct secret ballot.

This victory is the culmination of the wise policies pursued by the UAE in consolidating rights and freedoms, and confirms its awareness of the importance of human rights in achieving sustainable development. the international community, and a more prosperous future for all countries and peoples of the world.
