After eighteen months of closure caused by the various confinements, the Crazy Horse, one of the most emblematic Parisian cabarets which "sublimates femininity" since 1951, will reopen its doors on October 21, its manager announced Thursday to AFP. Philippe Lhomme.

Created by Alain Bernardin, Crazy Horse has imposed itself with the idea of "dressing" the bodies of dancers with projections of patterns (stripes, polka dots ...) to differentiate itself with a "sassy glamor" of the great cabarets. "feathered" like the Lido or the Moulin Rouge.

In the wake of the "New Realists" of the 1960s, like the fashion designers Paco Rabanne, Pierre Cardin or Courrèges, Alain Bernardin considered that the female body "was the ideal medium to stage the theater of the world. ".

On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, the famous cabaret on Avenue George V is inaugurating a new setting offering more comfort to spectators, notably with the creation of alcoves.

The gauge was lowered accordingly to 220 spectators from 240 previously.

A state-of-the-art projection system makes it possible to create "immersive and enveloping" atmospheres.

"We have privileged the comfort of the spectators. The facade has also been completely revisited. We re-light the lights by renewing the experience," Philippe Lhomme told AFP.

On the bill, the show "Totally Crazy" features paintings signed by choreographer Philippe Découflé and shoemaker Christian Louboutin.

"We can welcome the action of the public authorities in favor of the world of culture during the confinements which made it possible to reduce the breakage. However, the great Parisian cabarets have lost nearly 40 million euros in all," said M Lhomme, also president of the Professional Syndicate of French Cabarets and Music Halls (Camulc).
