After Bi Yuquan joined the army, his family received two certificates of membership of the 23rd Army of the People's Liberation Army.

One was issued on December 30, 1949, certifying that Bi Yuquan belonged to the second company of the first battalion of the 204th regiment of the 68th division at the time; the other was issued on March 12, 1950, and recorded that Bi Yuquan was the sixth Guard of the 204th Regiment Headquarters of the 18th Division.

At the end of the two certificates, it is stated that their parents, brothers and sisters, and other family members should enjoy the preferential treatment of the families of revolutionary soldiers.
