Myanmar's state television read a statement by the military on the "provisional government" on the 14th and refused to accept the visit to Myanmar from the 11th to the 14th of this month requested by the second foreign minister of Brunei, Erwan, who is a special envoy of ASEAN. Clarified.



Regarding the reason for the refusal, he said, "The special envoy has requested visits from all parties concerned, but now that Japan is focusing on domestic stability and the rule of law, it is difficult to carry out a specific mission." increase.



The military is believed to have refused to accept Second Foreign Minister Elwan because he was obsessed with meeting with State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and President Win Myint, who are being detained and being tried.



In addition, the statement said, "We should build mutual trust first," and welcomes any visits that do not wish to meet with Suu Kyi and others.



Due to the failure of the special envoy's visit, the ASEAN side is expected to oppose it, and it is expected that an urgent foreign ministers' meeting will be held on the 15th to discuss future measures.
