The OVHcloud, French champion of IT hosting, hopes thanks to this IPO to increase its capital by more than 350 million euros.

The money raised will be used by the company to finance its growth and expansion globally.

But the bug suffered by the group this Wednesday, October 13 may compromise its ambitions a little.

The OVHcloud was indeed the victim of a giant blackout that lasted more than an hour affecting several websites that the company hosts.

Fire in a data center

This is the second serious incident in six months.

In March, the French group was the victim of a fire in a data center in Strasbourg.

This has also caused disruption on many websites.

The OVHcloud IPO is this year the third in the French tech sector.

In the wake of the musical nugget Believe in June, then in September of the cybersecurity product distribution company Exclusive Networks.
