Vålbergs bathhouse has passed its best before date and Sundstabadet in Karlstad has closed its jump towers as they do not meet the EU standard.

- We try to be involved early now when there are plans to build new bathhouses in the other municipalities, says Frida Pettersson (C).

Rent a sig

Karlstad municipality has asked the municipality of Hammarö, Forshaga and Grums, if it is possible to rent swimming lessons for new construction and if they can imagine building with greater capacity than the municipality's own needs.

In Hammarö municipality, SEK 800,000 has been set aside for a feasibility study for a new bathhouse.

In Grums, a small feasibility study has been initiated for a new bathhouse, a construction that would mean the largest investment for the municipality in many years.

Hear what Grum's technical manager Jonas Gunnberg thinks about the collaboration plans.

Also hear Frida Pettersson (C) talk about what happens if their flirtation does not yield results.
