October 14, 2021 Two doctors were referred to the judicial authorities because they were held responsible for having drawn up false medical certificates later used by their patients to request the issuance of the Green pass. This was reported by the Carabinieri dei Nas as part of the control campaign on compliance with the obligation of the green pass for access to certain categories of activities and services.



The two doctors, report the Nas of Turin and Rome, not operating as part of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, were referred to the Authorities for having compiled certificates of exemption from vaccination or recovery from Covid-19 in favor of people who they did not have the requisites, in order to fraudulently obtain the Green pass. 



Since the entry into force of the legislation, over 8 thousand activities and businesses have been inspected, disputing 433 violations of the green pass obligation, of which 236 to the owners of commercial activities and provision of services subject to the Covid certification obligation, such as restaurants, bars, gyms, betting rooms and means of transport, held responsible for failure to verify the green pass. An additional 197 sanctions were instead applied to customers and users for lack of possession of the certificate.



The results of the Nas inspections show that 247 penalties are attributable to food and beverage administration facilities, such as restaurants, pizzerias and bars, 80 are related to gyms, swimming pools and wellness centers, 81 at betting halls, game rooms and recreational activities, while 25 in the field of long-distance transport services, for a total value of over 135 thousand euros in administrative fines.



During the checks, the Nas interventions also concerned the correct application of the remaining containment measures to the epidemic spread, contesting further 251 violations due to non-compliance with the sanitation operations of the vehicles, the presence of dispensers for hand sanitation , the use of masks, information to users on the rules of conduct and distancing.

Temporary closure orders from one to five days were also issued for 14 businesses.
