For the first time in the history of the exhibition .. Arabs are full in number at "Expo 2020 Dubai"

Expo 2020 Dubai recorded a remarkable Arab presence, with the participation of the full number (22 countries) for the first time in the history of the World Exhibition, which dates back to 1851.

The first Arab participation in the history of the international exhibitions, "Expo", was represented by: Syria, Lebanon and Palestine, in the "Expo Haiti 1949", before Kuwait won the honor of the first Gulf country to register its presence in the exhibitions, in the version of "Expo 1967 Montreal".

The first Emirati participation, represented by the name "Abu Dhabi Government" in "Expo 1970 Osaka", came a year before the announcement of the union, in the presence of carrying the slogan "Abu Dhabi .. Past, Present and Future", and in a pavilion that simulated the historic watchtowers at Qasr Al Hosn.

And the UAE recorded at the “Expo 1992 Seville”, the first official presence after the union in the corridors of the exhibition, with the design of a pavilion for the state at the “Seville” exhibition, in the form of Al Jahili Castle, one of the historical castles in the city of Al Ain, and the pavilion included features from the Bronze Age societies, and archaeological artifacts, in addition to revealing the culture and lifestyle of the residents of the Emirates.

And the year 2008 celebrated the largest historical participation of Arabs, in the “Expo Zaragoza” in Spain, with the presence of 13 Arab countries, before “Expo 2020 Dubai” carried a comprehensive change of image, with the success of the UAE and Dubai in registering an Arab presence (full number), and the presence of 22 pavilions for countries All Arab countries, starting with the Emirates pavilion (the host country), and the pavilions of the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar, in addition to Iraq and Yemen, and the countries of the Levant represented in: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and North Africa with Egypt, Sudan and Libya Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Djibouti, Somalia, Mauritania, and Comoros.
