A senior EU-European Union official who mediates talks between the United States and Iran has visited Iran to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement.

Iran's Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs said that he was "ready for serious negotiations," and the focus is on whether talks that have been suspended under the new anti-US and conservative hardliners can be resumed as soon as possible.

Since April, the United States and Iran have held indirect talks through EU mediation to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement, but in August the new anti-US and conservative hardliner Raishi administration was launched. It has never been opened since.

Under these circumstances, EU Under-Secretary-General Mora, who is working to resume talks as soon as possible, visited Tehran, the capital of Iran, and met with Foreign Minister Bagheri on the 14th.

"Iran is always ready for serious negotiations that lead to a substantive agreement," Bagheri said at a meeting, according to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "I wonder if the United States intends to keep the agreement." He also showed a sense of caution.

In the talks so far, the Iranian side is calling on the United States to lift the sanctions entirely, and as Iran accelerates nuclear development and deepens the gap with the United States, the focus is on whether talks can be resumed early.
