Löfbergs buys an average of 120 tonnes of raw coffee per day and produces coffee equivalent to ten million cups per day.

South and Central America account for 70 percent of the raw coffee that Löfbergs imports.

Ten kronor per kilo

The raw coffee price is not the only thing that affects the price in the store, but now the situation in Brazil is so extreme that it can be an increase of up to ten kroner per kilo or six to seven öre more expensive per cup, Anders Thorén explains.

- We do not know how big the price increase will be.

It will be about a couple of cents per cup.

But what we must do to ensure a sustainable and stable coffee production - is that we must make efforts that can benefit coffee growers and make them stronger so that they can live a better life growing coffee, says Anders Thorén.
