Zayed University regrets the misinformation

Zayed University expressed its regret over the misinformation circulated today about the recent changes to the university's educational curricula.

In this regard, the university said: "We would like to reiterate that Zayed University is keen on the accreditation granted to it by the Academic Accreditation Committee in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to ensure that all students obtain accredited certificates locally and internationally in accordance with the procedures in force at the Ministry. Since our students are our main concern, all the decisions we make are in the interest of the student in the first place, an issue that is at the heart of all our decision-making mechanisms.. Any changes made by the university are aimed at improving its performance and meeting the expectations of the labor market, by providing high-quality graduates of efficiency."

She added: "As the university continues its journey of development, this requires continuous improvements in line with the successive changes witnessed by the labor market in the public and private sectors, and supports our country's ambitions and economic strategies, and its pioneering vision to enter new sectors that we must keep pace with through our specializations and academic curricula. This is considered a standard approach in the most prestigious international educational institutions, but it is part of our continuous endeavor to continuously improve the quality of education and improve the student experience at our university.”

In a tweet, the university confirmed that the reports circulating on social media channels were completely incorrect and said: "Zayed University offers various university and graduate programs that are internationally recognized... At the same time, we will remain at the highest levels of responsibility that befit the name of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Zayed."
