China News Service, October 13th. The leader of the Democratic Progressive Party authorities mentioned for the first time that the two sides of the strait are "non-affiliated" in their so-called "speech" on October 10.

The spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council Ma Xiaoguang stated at a regular press conference on the 13th that both sides of the strait belong to one China, and cross-strait relations are by no means "state-to-state" relations.

Ma Xiaoguang pointed out that since 1949, although the two sides of the strait have not yet been completely reunified, the fact that the mainland and Taiwan belong to the same China has never changed and cannot be changed. China's sovereignty and territory have never been divided, nor will it be allowed to be divided.

Both sides of the strait belong to one China, and cross-strait relations are by no means a "state-to-state" relationship. The so-called "non-subscription to each other" is naked trafficking in the "two-state theory."

No matter how they attempt to package "Taiwan independence" separatist propositions, they cannot conceal their evil intentions to split the country.

This shows even more that it is the "independence" provocation of the DPP authorities that has caused the current tension and turmoil in cross-strait relations, threatening the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait.

Our fight to contain "Taiwan independence" is a completely necessary and just move.

Ma Xiaoguang emphasized that we will never tolerate any acts of "Taiwan independence" and will never allow Taiwan to separate from China. No one should underestimate our strong determination, firm will, and strong ability to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

If the DPP authorities remain obsessed and do not know how to rein in the precipice, they will only push Taiwan into a more dangerous situation.
