World champion with the France team in 2018, defender Lucas Hernandez is accused of not having respected a removal measure imposed after a brawl with his partner in 2017. The Bayern Munich player will have to appear on October 19 in front of a court in Madrid to have the order of imprisonment notified to him.

Spanish justice on Wednesday ordered the imprisonment of French international defender of Bayern Munich Lucas Hernandez for failing to comply with a removal measure imposed after a fight with his companion in 2017, announced the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid.

Lucas Hernandez, 2018 world champion and winner of the Nations League with the Blues on Sunday against Spain, will have to appear on October 19 in front of a court in Madrid so that the imprisonment order is notified to him.

The player appealed against the execution of his sentence, the court said.
