Solar storm reaches Earth, northern lights illuminate Canada's night sky

Edmonton, Alberta is located in southern Canada. Even for Canada, the aurora is very rare here.

　　Due to the active solar activity in the past few days, the solar storm caused by the flare reached the earth on the 12th, bringing a geomagnetic storm, and also causing aurora to be seen in lower latitude areas.

　　Not only Canada, but some parts of the United States and the United Kingdom have also reported the appearance of aurora.

This phenomenon may last for 2-3 days.
