A woman who slept peacefully in the middle of the night was suddenly faced with a 'death point'.

According to foreign media such as Canadian CBC on the 12th local time, Ruth Hamilton, 66, from Golden, British Columbia, recently suffered a shocking accident that she will never forget in her life.

Late on the 3rd night, Mr. Hamilton, who had been sleeping for several hours in his bedroom, was woken up by a loud noise outside the door.

It was the sound of Mr. Hamilton's dog 'Benny' barking violently as if startled by something.

When Mr. Hamilton, who was puzzled, got up from his bed, suddenly the house shook with a loud roar.

Before he knew what had happened, the ceiling shattered and debris poured over Mr. Hamilton's face.

Mr. Hamilton initially thought there had been an explosion at home and frantically called the paramedics.

After a moment he calmed down and looked around, and found a large boulder lying on the pillow on which he had laid his head a while ago.

When officers arrived at the scene to investigate the accident, they raised the possibility that a rock might have been thrown from a nearby construction site that was being demolished.

However, the construction site added an unexpected testimony with an explanation that "no work was carried out at the time".

It was said that many of the employees at the site had seen 'Meteors' falling from the night sky with bright lights.

In fact, at the same time, photos of meteors taken in nearby areas began to spread on social media.

A team of researchers from the Department of Astronomy at Western University, who analyzed the rock at Hamilton's request, also said, "It is certain that the meteorite fragments separated from the meteor are."

Afterwards, Mr. Hamilton said, "It was the scariest moment of my life. I believed that it was definitely a safe place as far as my bed, because I could have died because of a stone thrown from space."

Hamilton said he decided to donate the meteorite, which almost took his life, but also a symbol of great fortune, to researchers at Western University.

This is a 'news pick'.
