"The European Parliament ... condemns the direct and indirect participation of Russia in armed conflicts, occupations and military build-up in the region or on the borders with it," the draft resolution says.

At the same time, the document does not specify exactly what events are being discussed.

The Foreign Affairs Committee also expressed support for the Eastern Partnership member states and called on the countries, “especially those that have chosen the path of European integration” (Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova), to ensure respect for fundamental freedoms and continue the necessary reforms.

The document emphasizes that support from the European Union depends on concrete progress in implementing these reforms.

In September, EP deputies approved a report calling for a reconsideration of relations with Moscow.

The document, among other things, proposed "to fight against Russian interference in the affairs of the EU and the countries of the Eastern Partnership."
