A couple rescued at the last minute

It is not yet known whether any passengers were on board the plane with the pilot.

An investigation has been opened into the facts.

It has already revealed that a few moments before the crash, an air traffic controller informed the pilot that he was flying too low.

He would have asked him several times to gain altitude.

Ashore, a couple living in one of the two burnt down houses were rescued by neighbors.

They took the seriously burned woman out through a window and dragged her husband out of the field, passing under the fence.

The crash occurred not far from a high school but fortunately did not injure any of the students.
