She wakes up terrified by a "space rock" piercing the ceiling and falling onto her pillow

A Canadian woman woke up in a state of panic after a strange object hit her roof, sending debris falling all over her face.

Ruth Hamilton was shocked to see a hole in the ceiling and a black rock on her pillow.

After touring the place and making sure that no debris fell from a nearby construction site, police officers settled on a single explanation, which was that the accident was caused by a meteorite falling on the roof of the house.

The incident was linked to a fireball scene that lit up the sky and stunned residents in the Lake Louise area last weekend.

"We contacted a local construction site to see if they were doing demolition and blasting work, but they confirmed that they were not doing similar work, while they talked about seeing a bright light in the sky and hearing a huge boom that night," Roth said.

She added that she shivered and thought that someone had broken into her house, and she felt a little relief after making sure that what broke through the roof of her house would be nothing but something that fell from the sky.

The woman plans to preserve the space rock, which is believed to be millions of years old.

Roth emphasized that the lesson she learned from the incident was that life can come to an end at any moment, even when you think you're safe on the bed.
