12 October 2021 Controls by the employer to ensure that their employees arrive at the turnstiles or at the entrance to the offices equipped with a green pass, which is mandatory starting from 15 October, can take place in advance but not earlier than 48 hours. The draft of the Dpcm on the Green pass provides it, explaining that this limit was set "to meet specific organizational needs, such as those deriving from work activities carried out on the basis of shifts, or connected to the provision of essential services ".

Pending platform is valid on paper

"Pending the release and possible update of the Covid-19 green certifications by the national Dgc platform, the interested parties can still use the documents issued, in paper or digital format, by public and private health facilities, pharmacies, analysis laboratories, general practitioners and pediatricians of free choice who certify or report "one of the conditions for issuing the green certification (vaccination, healing or swab)". Thus provides a draft of the Dpcm to which the government is working on checks on the Green Pass for access to workplaces

Green Pass also covers Italians vaccinated abroad

The latest Dpcm, which will be signed closely by Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and which traces the path of the software and applications necessary for the verification of the vaccination passport at the turnstiles and at the entrance to the offices starting from 15 October 'also covers' Italians who underwent vaccination abroad, for a long time remained in a regulatory 'limbo'.

The draft of the provision, viewed by Adnkronos, provides in this regard that the ad hoc system, the TS, "acquires, through a specific online form, made available on the national portal of the DGC-Platform, the data relating to vaccinations carried out abroad by Italian citizens and their cohabiting family members as well as subjects registered with the National Health Service who request the issuance of the Covid-19 green certification in Italy to have access to the services and activities identified by the provisions in force ".

Green pass, ban on keeping the QR code

The Green pass and the QR code can be used by the employer only and exclusively to verify that the employee, starting from October 15, is in good standing to access the workplace, or has a vaccination passport.

In fact, "it is explicitly forbidden to keep the two-dimensional bar code (QR code) of the COVID-19 green certifications subject to verification, as well as to extract, consult, record or otherwise process for purposes other than those provided for" by law "in outcome of the checks ".
