A very violent shock.
For reasons that have yet to be determined, a 44-year-old man, an Engie employee working on the site of a wind farm in Beauvoir-sur-Niort (Deux-Sèvres), found himself trapped under a reel, a part of the mast of the wind turbine, this Tuesday morning around 9 am, reports France Bleu Poitou.
He died on the spot.
The worker was handling this huge piece of nearly 3 tons with a construction machine, when it was thrown on him.
His colleagues managed to free him quickly, but the death of the forties was noted on the arrival of the Samu.
An investigation was opened by the Poitiers prosecutor's office.
