The star host of C8 Cyril Hanouna was Sonia Mabrouk's guest on Tuesday morning, in a cross interview with political scientist Jérôme Sainte-Marie.

He returned in particular to his relationship with Emmanuel Macron, saying he did not "hide" their proximity, as with other political representatives.

INTERVIEW

They have two different visions of France, but not necessarily contradictory.

Guests of Sonia Mabrouk on Tuesday in Europe Matin, the political scientist Jérôme Saint-Marie and the host Cyril Hanouna gave their perspective on politics.

They each publish very different works on this subject, namely

Bloc populaire

 published by Cerf and

What the French told me

by Fayard, signed by the host of C8 as well as by Christophe Barbier.

Know the trend on social networks

Asked about his relationship with politicians, Cyril Hanouna notably returned to his relationship with Emmanuel Macron. "I do not hide my closeness with him as with other people", he assured in reference to Jean-Luc Mélenchon who has several times been invited to his show. "I exchange with the President of the Republic but I do not know him personally. We saw each other twice, once on the air and once during a medal ceremony", detailed the host.

For him, this proximity is partly explained by the fact that the Head of State is "very interested in social networks" and "their resonance".

"He knows that I'm very active on it so he sometimes asks me how I feel about things. He has several relays, we saw him with Mcfly and Carlito, who are Youtubers in contact with a certain section of the population. So he's trying to do an analysis of what's going on in France and it doesn't bother me at all that he asks me about the emerging trends, "continued Cyril Hanouna.

Mcfly and Carlito have indeed shot a back-to-school video with the head of state in early September.

A bet that sparked controversy and was deemed inappropriate by part of the opposition.
