Once again, the economics prize went to male researchers, this time the three who shared the prize.
Can't find any women?
- There are women but not enough, says Ingrid Werner, professor of financial economics and part of the prize committee and continues:
- Unfortunately, in economics less than 20 percent of professors at research universities are women.
We work hard and take this issue seriously and would very much like to have more women with us, but we are leaning towards the procedures that we must follow according to the will.
