The Commander-in-Chief of Umm Al Quwain Police, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, issued the first job card for a robotic employee involved in the investigation of crimes against children under the name (Robot). explaining that “Robotok” can speak with the victim children, in two languages ​​(Arabic and English), in addition to its ability to use dialect. The local community, taking advantage of his ability to reveal their psychological state, thanks to his ability to change his facial expressions 360 times, which contributes to reassuring the children during the investigation.

He added that "Robotok" is considered an electronic officer dedicated to investigating the crimes of children between the ages of five and 10 years, adding that it has eight advantages, the most important of which is the ability to know people who have previously investigated or dealt with them through the "face recognition" technology, and to read expressions of expressions. Face, pronounce written questions to direct them to the child through the control screens, and display pictures of suspects through the iPad.

“Robotok” is characterized by the ability to distinguish the sex of the child (male and female), and to know whether he is nervous or happy, by reading his facial expressions. Information from them is better than a human officer, as it aims to enhance the security of children and ensure the speedy detection of facts about the crimes committed against them.

(Robotok) contains a control panel that enables it to enter data and questions related to the crime that is being investigated with the child by “Robotok”, including questions of physical and verbal abuse, and questions related to sexual crimes. The panel is characterized by receiving the child’s facial expressions, which are sent by “Robotok” and presented to the officer.
