11 October 2021 "It is reasonable to think that with the new year there may be a revision of the restrictive measures currently in place in our country, including the Green pass which may be revised and reduced in its application".

Thus the Undersecretary of Health, Andrea Costa, spoke to "Parliamone" on Rainews24.

The Green pass, explained Costa, "is an instrument identified in this particular moment to guarantee the freedom of citizens and to guarantee a gradual return to normality without having to take a step back. And I believe that the results are proving this choice right. . The Green pass has been linked to the state of emergency which, as we know, ends up to the end of the year. I think, therefore, it is reasonable to think that if the data continue to be positive, if the numbers of hospitalized patients continue to fall, if the number of vaccinated it will continue to rise, it is right to also give perspectives to the citizens. In the moment in which we sustain every day that the vaccine is the way out of the pandemic we must also have the courage of the objectives and say that the day will come when the restrictive measures will be reduced ".
