His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed that “Expo 2020 Dubai is a prominent forum for Arab and international cultures and civilizations on the land of the Emirates,” noting that the presence of more than 190 countries in this global event embodies its important role in building More bridges of communication and cooperation between the countries of the world to serve all humanity.
This came during his visit to the pavilions of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, participating in "Expo 2020 Dubai".
His Highness began his tour by visiting the pavilion of the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, which is located in the "Opportunities" area of "Expo 2020 Dubai", and was briefed on the content of the pavilion, and the various programs it provides, reflecting the Moroccan identity, its history and cultural heritage, as well as its aspirations for the future.
His Highness valued the efforts of those in charge of the pavilion, stressing the strong brotherly relations between the UAE and Morocco, which enjoy the support and care of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.
During his visit to the pavilion of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which is located in the "Opportunities" area, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was introduced to the innovative design of the pavilion, which highlights Egyptian history and civilization spanning thousands of years.
His Highness was briefed on the virtual journey provided by the pavilion to its visitors, during which he takes them on a photo tour to the most prominent historical and tourist places in Egypt, in addition to identifying the promising investment opportunities that abound in it during the current period.
His Highness pointed out that the presence of the Arab Republic of Egypt at Expo 2020 Dubai constitutes a distinctive addition to the global event, and embodies the strong and distinguished brotherly relations that unite the two brotherly countries and their leadership.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan also visited the pavilion of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which is located in the "mobility" area and bears the slogan "Thresholds of the Future".
His Highness was introduced to the pavilion's content and the various programs it offers to visitors, which reflect the Kingdom's achievements in many fields, in addition to the promising opportunities it abounds, and the programs and future plans it aspires to achieve.
His Highness praised the prominent Jordanian participation in this global forum, stressing the depth of the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Korea, received Jeong Wei Young.
During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai, they discussed the friendship and strategic partnership between the UAE and the Republic of South Korea, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, including the economic, investment, cultural, and energy sector.
The two sides also discussed the Emirati-Korean joint cooperation in the health sector, especially in terms of confronting the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and the importance of moving forward in the path of sustainable recovery from the pandemic.
His Highness and Jeong Wei-young reviewed the UAE's organization of "Expo 2020 Dubai", and the importance of this prominent event in formulating a global agenda for the next stage, based on strengthening international cooperation and aspiration to achieve sustainable development in societies.
His Highness welcomed Jeong Wei-young's visit, stressing the strength and strength of the Emirati-Korean bilateral relations, and the continuous keenness to strengthen them and develop joint cooperation, in light of the strategic partnership that brings together the two friendly countries.
In a related context, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the Korean pavilion participating in "Expo 2020 Dubai", which is located in the "mobility" area.
His Highness was introduced to the dynamic design of the Korean Pavilion, which is designed in the form of a dynamic building, interacts with visitors, and provides them with an interesting interactive experience in realistic and virtual environments.
His Highness praised the content of the pavilion, which bears the slogan "Smart Korea brings the world to you", and is classified among the five largest pavilions in the global event, and extends over an area of about 4,651 square meters.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, and Minister of Culture and Youth Commissioner-General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Noura bint Mohammed Kaabi.
