The Cancer Foundation's Pink Ribbon campaign runs in October every year with the aim of spreading information about breast cancer and raising money for cancer research.
In 2019, more than 8,000 women were diagnosed in Sweden.

It is estimated that around 60 are diagnosed each year where about 14 die, says Ingrid Jonsson, vice president of the breast cancer association Hilda in Örebro County.
A fundraiser for cancer research was also arranged in Hallsberg.
A rally was run there in memory of Stieg Ekström, the builder who died last Easter and who was involved in the county's motorsport.
