Four days after his tour de force in front of Monaco, Boulogne-Levallois confirmed Saturday by flying over the Ile-de-France derby in Nanterre (104-76) during the 3rd day of Elite, while Bourg-en-Bresse garnered a third success in front of Strasbourg (65-57).

The false start of the Metropolitans and the stinging defeat suffered at Le Mans (83-65) at the opening of the season seems to be ancient history as they have impressed since.

After Monaco, humiliated 108 to 81 on Monday, it was Nanterre who paid the price for the offensive power of Vincent Collet's men.

The twelve players used by the coach of the France team scored, with a special mention for Will Cumings, author of 19 points.

The domination of the "Mets" was indisputable in all areas of the game with a clear gap especially in rebounds (45 against 34) and assists (24 against 11).

Bourg-en-Bresse for its part preserved its invincibility, by disposing of Strasbourg at home, and became the first team to count three victories.

Both teams were clumsy, especially at long distance, but JL Bourg dominated in the interior.

If the Bressane team presents a perfect balance sheet so far, Paris Basketball, promoted, suffered a third defeat, one point ahead of Roanne (98-97).

The other promoted Fos-sur-Mer, defeated by Gravelines (74-72), has still not won either.

Pau-Orthez for his part made short work of Châlons-Reims (92-67) and Limoges had the last word against Portel (77-64).

Finally, Orleans got the better of Cholet (88-81), with a good Kyvon Davenport, author of a double-double (10 pts, 11 rebounds).

Day 3 ends on Sunday with an enticing duel between Monaco and Le Mans and a re-edition of the 2021 final between champion Villeurbanne and Dijon.
