The Australian Pavilion invited school children to attend the Australian sports camp at Expo 2020 Dubai during the school holidays in the country, to learn about Australian sports and play various games in a fun atmosphere at the Ossie Park in the Sports, Fitness and Physical Safety Center, which is located directly next to the pavilion.

The Australian pavilion said in a statement yesterday: “Australia hopes to bring its strong sporting spirit to (Expo 2020) through daily sporting activities and tournaments of up to 15 sporting events, among which Australia will hold international forums during the major event focusing on high-performance sports and technology, representing Women in the world of sport and sports diplomacy, and the role of sport in advancing the sustainable development goals.

He added: “In addition to the daily competitions, training, skill-upgrading and school programs that are held in (Ocey Park), Australia will host many sporting events and activities throughout the exhibition period, most notably the multi-sports tournament within the pavilion run by (Expo 2020 Dubai) and (Dubai 30/). 30) November 1-4, Melbourne Cup Carnival on November 2, 2021, indoor cricket tournament, rugby from December 2-5, 2021, as well as the Women in Sport Forum on March 7, 2022, sports shows huge.”

For his part, Australia's Commissioner-General at Expo 2020 Dubai, Justin McGowan, said: "Sport is an integral part of Australian culture, with a remarkable ability to bring people, communities and nations together.

Our team and partners have developed an amazing array of sporting events and activities right next to the Australian Pavilion, which is aptly named Ossie Park.

We look forward to welcoming visitors and partners from other country pavilions to participate and witness the strength of the social bonds that are built through sport.”

■ Women's Australian Open Final Show: January 29, 2022.

■ Men's Australian Open Final Show: January 30, 2022.

■ Sports Science and High Performance Conference: January 31, 2022.

■ Physical Health and Safety Week: February 1st.

■ Sports event for World Hearing Day.

■ Women in Sports Forum: March 7, 2022.

■ Women and Sports Film Festival: March 2022.

■ Training of women on sports media: November 2021.
