Ain Expo.. "Dubai Cares" shows the distinctive spirit of altruism of the people of the Emirates

Dubai Cares, one of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's global initiatives, affirms in a special message to the world, through its participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, that "the future will be for humans, not machines", no matter how technology interferes with our daily lives.

The Commissioner-General of the "Dubai Cares" pavilion at the exhibition, and CEO of "Dubai Cares", Dr. Tariq Mohammed Al Gurg, explained to "Emirates Today" that "the foundation's pavilion tells the story of a land whose people have been known for their generosity and giving for many decades, and their legacy continues."

Al Gurg stated that “Dubai Cares” shows in its essence the distinctive spirit of altruism of the people of the Emirates, and believes in the necessity of sharing this rich and interesting story about Dubai and the UAE with the whole world, stressing that there is no better platform than “Expo 2020 Dubai” to display it with pride.

He said: "The Foundation's message through its pavilion at the World Exhibition is that the human being will continue to play the main role in the course of life in the future," pointing out that it has spent more than one billion dollars on education in developing countries, over the course of 14 years, in order to activate the state's orientation that makes the human being among its priorities.

He stressed that humanity will be a mainstay in the next industrial revolution, along with technological developments, pointing out that the institution seeks to ensure the flexibility of education systems to the extent that allows to keep pace with rapid changes around us, and reduce the digital divide, by ensuring the right to have access to the means Communication for Learning and Livelihoods as a way to increase equal opportunities for children and youth around the world, and to put human dignity at the center of storytelling to promote a more nuanced understanding of the world.

He said, "Dubai Cares has worked on preparing the Expo file for six years, to enter the field of competition in obtaining the pavilion that it allocates to a humanitarian non-governmental organization, with a number of well-known international institutions, in addition to local entities."

The Dubai Cares pavilion is located in the Dubai Opportunity District and extends over two levels.

It covers an area of ​​1,000 square meters, and the slogan "Our future is human" represents the general theme of the humanitarian foundation's participation over the next two years.
