October 10, 2021 Decreasing turnout for administrative offices in Sardinia and Sicily, where 140 municipalities are called to the polls to elect the mayor and renew the municipal councils.



At 7 pm, in Sardinia in the 98 municipalities involved, 35.7% of the voters had voted (compared to 48.9% in the previous round).

In Olbia 34.8% (46.1%), in Carbonia 34.1% (46.8%) and in Capoterra 32.8% (43.4%).

The polling stations on the island close at 11pm and will reopen tomorrow from 7am to 3pm.



In Sicily, in the 42 municipalities involved, 33.98% had voted at 7pm, down from the previous administrative elections when, however, only Sunday was voted.
