Prince of Monaco, Prince Albert II, stressed that the UAE is moving steadily towards achieving prosperity in all fields, for the benefit of its citizens and the peoples of the world, praising its hosting of "Expo 2020 Dubai" at this important time in order to gather the world around common goals. for mankind.

This came during a call by the Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of "Expo 2020 Dubai", Reem Al-Hashemi, with Prince Albert, who congratulated her on the success of the opening ceremony of the international event, praising the efforts made by the UAE to host the international event.

Prince Albert II and Reem Al Hashemi discussed the UAE's impressive success in hosting the World Expo for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, and Monaco's participation in the international event.

Reem Al-Hashemi praised the excellence of the Monaco pavilion and the exhibits it contained that reflect the progress achieved by the emirate.

Prince Albert had earlier inaugurated a scale model of the pavilion in which the emirate is participating in "Expo 2020 Dubai", in the Port Hercules area.

The pavilion was provided with a hall equipped with the latest means of communication, to be a window for direct communication between the residents of the emirate and visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai.

For her part, director of the Monaco Pavilion, Samira Johar, said that the pavilion aims to convey an important environmental message, as the solar panels covering its main facade help generate its energy needs without any pollutants.

The pavilion also offers a panoramic view of Monaco.

She added: “The suite extends over a total area of ​​1,700 square meters and has two floors, with a total height of 12 meters.

In its shape and exterior design, it embodies the rock of Monaco clad in a group of photovoltaic panels, and is surrounded from the outside by a group of plants, including an olive tree near the entrance, to give an aesthetic touch to the site.
