This semester, principals can decide for the first time if they want their students to be graded from grades four and five instead of grades six, which is standard.

Ola Axelsson, who is the principal at Stoby school outside Hässeleholm, is one of those who has chosen to try to advance the grades at his school.

- We think we can be a little clearer with the students, so that they know what they can and what they should train more on, he says to Lilla Aktuellt.

However, not all students are convinced.

Vilde Linnér does not want grades, even though he thinks most people want it.

- I think we are too young for that.

Bellona Fältenby Nilsson thinks it feels hard.

- It mostly leads to stress for me, she says.

Oscar Berntsson also believes that it will lead to more stress, but also better results and peace and quiet in the classrooms.
