09 October 2021 A Covid outbreak, with 27 workers affected, has emerged within the Tiberina Sangro di Atessa (Chieti), a company that employs 500 employees for molding and welding and produces components for the Stellantis plants in Italy and the main customer which is Sevel di Atessa. 80% of the workers who tested positive after the molecular and antigenic swabs were asymptomatic vaccinated and had the green pass.
The onset of positive cases was discovered at the beginning of the week and the company, after alerting the ASL, started a mass screening to block the infections and go back to the chain of closest contacts.
An extraordinary sanitation was also carried out.
The security representation was alerted by the Covid committee.
The health situation is constantly monitored by the UILM and USB trade unions.
