Since 2019, China has become the largest contributor to the core budget of the Convention on Biological Diversity and its protocols, and has strongly supported the operation and implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity.

In recent years, China has continued to increase its contributions to the Global Environment Facility, and has become the largest donor country for developing countries in the Global Environment Facility, and has strongly supported the protection of global biodiversity.

  The white paper pointed out that China adheres to multilateralism, pays attention to extensive cooperation and exchanges, and consolidates global biodiversity conservation and governance.
