With the launch of Metroid Dread, Nintendo offers a superb evolution to one of its flagship universes.

Metroid Dread, the return of a legend

Metroid fans have been waiting for the return of their favorite action-adventure game for a few years and this is the first time they will be able to test it on Nintendo Switch. Indeed, if a remake of

Metroid II: Return of Samus

was released in 2017, it was only available on the Nintendo 3DS. The release of Metroid Dread on October 8 is therefore a real event in the gaming world.

For this opus, we find Samus Aran 20 years after the adventures of Metroid Fusion, the 2002 game available at the time on Game Boy Advance.

While the planet ZDR still seems to be under the threat of X parasites, the Galactic Federation decides to send its EMMI (Multiforme Interplanetary Mobile Explorers) there.

But once there, these robots no longer give any sign of life and it is therefore the bounty hunter Samus Aran who is responsible for shedding light on this case.

Arriving on ZDR, she discovers that my EMMIs have become steadfast killer robots ready to do anything to eliminate her.
