Investigative Committee will assess the actions of the prison hospital staff in the Saratov region

According to the investigation, officers of the Investigative Committee inspect all the premises of the Regional Tuberculosis Hospital No. 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Saratov Region, and also seize items and documents that may be of importance to the case.

Investigators also interrogate convicts and employees of the correctional institution.

It is noted that a number of necessary forensic examinations have been assigned in criminal cases, including on items seized in the course of investigative actions.

All the circumstances of the crimes committed and the persons involved in them are established.

Also, investigators establish the presence of other possible episodes of criminal activity.

"In addition, the investigation will give a legal assessment of the actions (inaction) of the employees of the correctional institution," the UK said.
