Two sentences handed down

In court, the defendant explained that he had a weapon to protect himself: “A blank weapon that does not hurt, does not kill but which scares and that you can buy like me in an armory.

He was sentenced to two hundred hours of community service with a four-month prison term for non-execution.

The defendant was also on trial for having driven last January despite a license suspension measure.

This measure would not have been notified to him, assured the young man at the bar.

For driving despite a license suspension, he was sentenced to six months in prison with a two-year probationary suspension.
