The Municipal Police of Madrid has arrested a homeless woman who allegedly punched a friend in the face who fell,
hit her head on the ground and died
, in an altercation near the
Plaza de Jacinto Benavente
de la capital, according to police sources.
The event occurred on October 2 at 4:15 p.m. at the confluence of Paz Street with Bolsa Street, in the Centro district.
A municipal patrol was the one that observed
an unconscious woman on the ground
with weak breathing and several witnesses said that the alleged assailant was sitting on a nearby staircase.
The
39-year-old
victim
was treated by the Samur-Civil Protection health workers with a
severe head injury
.
After being stabilized and intubated, she was transferred to the Clinical Hospital.
In that health center she died several hours later and the municipal agents learned the news when they were going to collect her documentation to identify her, according to the sources.
The aggressor, visibly saddened after learning that her friend had died, said that her partner
had kicked her in the back
and she "pissed off" had punched her in the head.
After knowing the death of the wound, the detainee was brought to justice for the crime of reckless homicide.
