“Osha and the Moon” launches the Al Wasl Square series of shows at Expo 2020 Dubai

This evening, a series of special artistic performances presented by Expo 2020 Dubai kicked off at Al Wasl Square, the beating heart of the major international event hosted by the UAE.

The dazzling artistic performances take the audience on exciting journeys through the huge display screen, which is the largest in the world with a 360-degree view.

The show "Aousha and the Moon" by Emirati poet Aousha bint Khalifa Al Suwaidi is the first in a series of shows, which presented the world for the first time the story of a girl who was swallowed by the moon.

The story caught the followers in the world of the twelve-year-old girl who dreamed a dream that awakened her senses and released her tongue, and she saw herself in her dream swallowing the moon.

The story was shown for twelve minutes to reimagine the girl's dream on a huge screen to provide an immersive experience.

The “Usha and the Moon” show launched a series of performances in Al Wasl Square, where the performances will continue tomorrow, the first of which is the “Harmony” or “Harmony” show, which lasts 20 minutes and tells the story of great secrets from the depths of the sea, so that the beholder sees the coral with its beauty and its captivating colors swimming in a way that harmonizes with the smooth movement of other marine creatures.

The series of special shows also includes "Stars in the Wilderness", a 20-minute live show that immerses the viewer in an experience inspired by the spirit of the wind.

There is also "The Scrap Is Returning", a segment showing Rashid and Latifa, the two main characters in Expo 2020 Dubai, who need help, as their opponent, "Mr. Scrap", controls Al Wasl Square and locks up our heroes in a digital world, as the events of a struggle between humans and machines that threaten the beauty of our planet revolve.. And the show continues. Also for twenty minutes.

These segments will be shown until October 16 in the breathtaking Al Wasl Square, which hosted the opening ceremony of the first Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, and will also be the stage for its closing ceremony before closing its doors on March 31.
