President Moon Jae-in took over and test-drive Hyundai Motor Company's compact SUV 'Casper', the first car produced through 'Gwangju-type Jobs', the first win-win local job, at the Blue House on the afternoon of the 6th.

After receiving the car and car keys from Hyundai Motor at the entrance of the Yeomingwan, and hearing about the structure and functions of the car, President Moon said, "Even though it is a compact car, it looks sturdy and has plenty of space inside."

Next, President Moon took the driver's seat and first lady Kim Jung-sook sat in the passenger seat, and after test-driving the Blue House grounds, "the ride feels good".

President Moon said, "It was a project promised since the 2012 presidential election, and after a long and persistent dialogue between labor, management, the public and the government, a Gwangju-type job was created. “It has helped the local economy,” he said.

He added, "I am deeply moved by the release of a new car. I hope that not only the citizens of Gwangju but also the people will love it."

On the 14th of last month, President Moon purchased Casper through online advance reservation to express his support for the Gwangju-type job.
